How does EasyCarWash work?

The EasyCarWash app can be easily downloaded for free from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
After registering with your number plate, you can buy washes at the participating stations.
The attached camera scans your number plate, you choose your pre-booked wash and start the wash on the app.

Why should I use EasyCarWash?

With EasyCarWash you always have a clean car. Why? Because when you buy a subscription, you can wash your car as many times as you like – for a small, monthly fee.
EasyCarWash is also the simplest and most convenient way to wash your car – without queueing and waiting at the checkout.
In addition to subscription offers, you can choose between buying a single wash and WashWallets (digital prepaid cards), which can also save you money on every wash.

Is the app free?

The EasyCarWash app is absolutely free in all stores.

Can I also buy other things from the shop and other services via app?

Only car washes can be purchased via the app.

What do I need a PIN for?

Your personal PIN provides additional security. For every wash, you use your PIN to confirm the booking and the price of the selected wash programme for billing via your credit card.

What do I do if I forget my PIN?

Simply click under the menu item "Settings - Change PIN" on "Forgot PIN?" then you can assign a new PIN. To protect your phone from misuse, you will need to re-enter your credit card information.

Are the washes offered in the app identical to the washes offered in the shop?

The app provides you with an overview of the available washes. These may differ from the regular shop offer.

Can I add additional options to my wash?

The washes available via the app do not allow any additional functions, such as underbody washing.

Do I have to get out of the car during the washing process?

This is an individual equipment detail which varies from car wash to car wash.
Please refer to the information on site for details. Your operator will be happy to advise you.

Is the single wash with EasyCarWash cheaper than normal?

In the EasyCarWash App you will find great car wash offers.
You can find out whether it is cheaper via the app by calling up the washing programmes.

Do I have to rebook the unlimited washes option offer every month?

No, the unlimited washes option is automatically renewed every month (by one month each time).

Questions about car washing with EasyCarWash
Can I wash several vehicles registered to me with one account?

At present, only one vehicle can be stored per user.


Can I also use another, second mobile phone to select the car wash?

Your data is always stored with your personal telephone number.
Therefore it is not possible to link an unlimited washes offer with a second one.


How do I see which car washes in my area offer EasyCarWash?

To do this, simply call up the map within the app. The available stations are displayed immediately.
Please note that we require your consent to determine the location.

Can I also use EasyCarWash abroad to wash my car?

Of course you can also use EasyCarWash abroad.
Simply use the app to check the available stations.

Can I wash any type of vehicle with the app?

Please heed the signs indicating the maximum heights and widths on site.

Can I use EasyCarWash to wash my car outside normal business hours?

We cannot make a blanket statement on this point.
It depends on the local conditions and legal requirements.
Details can be obtained at the respective station. Your operator will be happy to advise you.

Can I use my current subscriptions at all participating EasyCarWash stations?

No, you always book the subscription from one car wash operator. If the operator has several stations, this will be displayed in the EasyCarWash app. If you are unsure where your subscription applies, please contact the respective operator.

Problems and solutions
What happens if the number plate cannot be read?

If your number plate number is not read, you have the option of starting the wash manually within the app on the start page of the respective operator. To do this, click on "My wash won't start" and follow the instructions on your phone.

What do I do if I have a new car / number plate?

The number plate will be locked for one month. Example: If you sign up for an unlimited offer on 1st August, the number plate is locked from the first use for the duration of the unlimited offer. From the next month (with automatic renewal) you can enter a new number plate again if, for example, your vehicle has changed. We do this to make the system as secure as possible.


If something doesn't work, who can help me?

If you have any questions or problems regarding the app, please contact the respective operator. They will be happy to help you.

If my mobile phone battery is dead or my phone is playing up: does this mean I cannot wash my car?

EasyCarWash needs a functional mobile phone and Internet reception. If neither is available,
you cannot wash your car.

Payment and cancellation
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel the subscription within the term, you may of course still use the subscription until the end of the booked month.

Is it possible to buy single washes instead of a flatrate?

The EasyCarwash app also allows you to conveniently buy single washes.

Do I get an overview of how often I have washed, or is there an overview of the purchased washes within the app?

The app provides you with a detailed overview of all purchased washes.
Simply call up the menu and click on ""My washes"".
Please note: If your profile has no activity for 12 months, your personal data will be deleted.
You will be informed of this in advance.

How do I get a receipt for my wash?

Very easy. After every purchase of a wash you will automatically receive an invoice within the app in the menu "My washes".

How do I top up my credit?

You can top up your washing credit under the item Single washes.
Please note: This function is not available at all stations.

Can I change the unlimited washes option within the contract period – upgrade / downgrade?

Of course. You can change a booked unlimited washes option at any time. If you decide to change to a higher-level programme, you can use it immediately. You will only be charged the difference between the current and the new unlimited washes ooption on your credit card. If you opt for a cheaper unlimited washes option, your current offer continues until the end of the monthly term, your new and cheaper unlimited washes option is then automatically registered for you.

Can I buy a single wash despite the unlimited washes option?

You can also buy single washes despite the unlimited washes option.
The amount of the flatrate remains the same and the additional costs for the individual wash are charged.

What happens when my top-up credit is used up?

When you top up a credit, your credit card is debited once
and the invoice amounts are then gradually debited from your credit balance.
If you have used up all your credit, you will be notified in advance.
If the credit balance is no longer sufficient for one wash,
the full amount will be debited from your stored means of payment.

Are there any hidden costs?

There are no further costs for you.

I use my car for work – do I get an invoice recognised by the tax office?

We fulfil all invoice requirements according to the German Value Added Tax Act (§ 14 UStG).

Under which name does the payment appear on my credit card bill?

Your credit card statement will show the name of the operator from whom you purchased a wash.

How can I pay for my washes?

The payment for the washes is charged to your credit card (MasterCard, Visa, etc.). Fleet cards cannot be used for payment.

Can I use my booked WashWallet Value at all participating EasyCarWash stations?

No, you always book the WashWallet Value from one car wash operator. If the operator has several stations, this will be displayed in the EasyCarWash app. If you are unsure where your WashWallet applies, please contact the respective operator.

Data protection and privacy
What happens to the images from the cameras?

The number plate recognition camera does not store any information about the captured images of the number plates. However, to safeguard the participating operator, a photo of your vehicle will be taken inside the wash bay, which the operator (and only the operator) can use to identify potential instances of fraud. However, this only happens if we can detect suspicious behaviour.

Is my credit card information secure?

Of course. The credit card details are encrypted in accordance with current security standards and cannot be viewed by the operator or anyone else.
